Educational Innovation and Digital Learning Director, Tecnológico de Monterrey

She is currently Director of Educational Innovation and Digital Learning at Tecnológico de Monterrey, where she is responsible for promoting innovation and digital experiences in the institution, as well as managing the national offer of digital and distance education for high school, undergraduate, postgraduate and continuing education.

In 30 years of experience, he has participated in the development of the institution’s digital education strategy through the design and deployment of different models for high school, undergraduate, postgraduate and executive education programs. She has also been an active participant in the definition of the corporate university concept and the application models of virtual and hybrid education in companies and universities, for which she has directed more than 50 consulting and support projects in Mexico and abroad.

She has been responsible for the strategy and deployment of educational innovation initiatives such as the use of open resources, MOOCs, virtual reality and immersive worlds, the use of holograms, adaptive learning and micro-credentials, among others. She was also responsible for the definition and deployment of guidelines for the new educational spaces of the Tec21 Model.

She has coordinated actions to deploy the digital modality as a strategy to face contingency situations, specifically during the 2017 earthquake in the Mexico City Campus and during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020.

In the transformation process of the Institution, she has actively participated in the committees for the redesigning the Educational Model, as well as to ensure different institutional processes aligned to the new vision.

She was a member of the advisory board of COURSERA and is currently a member of the expert advisory group for the European Consortium ECIU and the Educational Innovation Committee of Universitas21.

She has been a professor and consultant in the areas of Communication, Education, Educational Innovation and Knowledge Management, among others.
